Linden Ainsley is a Los Angeles and New York City based choreographer and performer. She is a co-founder and resident choreographer for Lucid and has produced two series of shows with them in NYC. Her choreography has also been featured at Steps on Broadway Showcases, Spark Theatre Festival, Los Angeles Dance Festival and NACHMO LA. She is looking forward to presenting work at Choreographers Collection LA and at Moulin/Belle in France this spring. Linden is also a judge for KAR and Rainbow Dance Competitions.

Linden graduated from the Steps on Broadway Conservatory where she studied ballet, contemporary, modern and multiple styles of jazz as well as singing and acting. She has performed at the Joyce Theater, Ailey Citigroup Theater, Manhattan Movement and Arts Center and many Steps Industry Showcases. Before living in New York she trained and performed with Ballet West, Oregon Ballet Theatre, Los Angeles Ballet Academy Conservatory and has done workshops with BodyTraffic, Alonzo King Lines Ballet and American Ballet Theater.

 

Growing up in Los Angeles, she studied the Stanislavski method at The Young Actors Studio for many years. She has been a part of several regional and community theater productions across the country, and has worked in tv and film. Linden loves to combine her knowledge of acting with her passion of choreographing to create authentic story-telling pieces.
