Linden Ainsley is a Los Angeles and New York City based choreographer and performer. She co-founded Lucid Art Collective and has produced many shows with them in NYC. She is currently solo producing a new show, Ballet Core NYC, for freelance ballet choreographers this fall. Her choreography has been featured at many Steps on Broadway Showcases, Spark Theatre Festival, Cho.Co.La, and NACHMO LA. She has done residencies with Moulin/Belle in France and with Los Angeles Dance Festival.   

 

Linden is a regional and national judge for KAR and Rainbow Dance Competitions. She loves mentoring and being inspired by the future generation of dancers.

Linden graduated from the Steps on Broadway Conservatory where she studied ballet, contemporary, modern and multiple styles of jazz as well as singing and acting. She has performed at the Joyce Theater, Ailey Citigroup Theater, Manhattan Movement and Arts Center and many Steps Industry Showcases. Before living in New York she trained and performed with Ballet West, Oregon Ballet Theatre, Los Angeles Ballet Academy Conservatory and has done workshops with BodyTraffic, Alonzo King Lines Ballet and American Ballet Theater. She will be dancing at International Master Ballet Classes in Prague this summer.

 

Growing up in Los Angeles, she studied the Stanislavski method at The Young Actors Studio for many years. She has been a part of several regional and community theater productions across the country, and has worked in tv and film. Linden loves to combine her knowledge of acting with her passion for choreographing to create authentic story-telling pieces.
